Jeff Martin started the band Idaho in '92 which is still active today. He wrote the music for the award winning documentary Art & Copy in '09. Jeff was inspired to start making short films after seeing how director Doug Pray integrated and drew inspiration from his music during the editing process. With a love for shooting real film, Jeff includes super 8 and 16mm as often as possible in his shorts. For now, he wants to strictly make films about subjects he finds fascinating with the hope of uplifting others. Dorian's Alfa Romeo is his second short documentary which is essentially a tribute from a man to his 1970 Alfa Romeo. Jeff , like Dorian Valenzuela, has been obsessed with these vintage Alfa's ever since childhood. It all began when one of  his father's architectural associates drove into the family's driveway in an eggplant colored '69 Alfa GTV back in the early 70's

In his first short doc entitled Black & White Jeff interviews Nourredine El Warari,  a master printer of black & white film, who muses about the magical collaboration he shares with renowned photographer Lara Porzak.  Jeff has made rock videos for Ingrid Michaelson, Eleni Mandell, Down Like Silver and Bryan Kertenian

Jeff has teamed up with film maker Ben Bertucci to make a pilot called Lonesome Road about 6 twenty-somethings trying to make it Los Angeles. The story centers around a vintage car mechanic. June '18
